The week

Submissions run Monday 00:00 to Saturday 00:00 UTC. Voting runs Saturday 00:00 to Monday 00:00 UTC. Results follow after the automatic count, normally at 00:15 UTC Monday. Late counts appear as “counting”; voting never stays open past the deadline.

Entries

One public app per maker per round. Existing apps may enter if they fit the theme. Submit an app first, then enter it from the challenge page. You can withdraw during submissions. Entries cannot be replaced once voting starts. The linked website may change; keep the submitted experience consistent during judging.

Votes and results

Sign in with Google. Give each entry at most one emoji vote. You may change or remove it before voting closes. No self-votes. App popularity outside this contest does not count. Totals remain hidden during voting. Positive scores in the top three ranks earn bragging rights; ties share rank. No votes means no award.

Fair play

No bought votes, duplicate-account voting, unsafe downloads, copied work presented as your own, or misleading demos. Report suspicious entries. Removed apps and suspended accounts are excluded from public results. Final score snapshots stay fixed; moderation may hide an entry without rewriting the remaining results.

The prize

Recognition and a place in the round’s results. No cash prize is promised. Any future sponsored prize and its eligibility rules will be announced before entries open.
